Our custom made packages have been designed in unison with parents, to help you choose the level of
support that is best for you.
CFT or Craniosacral Fascial Therapy techniques are designed to gently unwind and release
accumulated fascial strain. This allows optimal mobility within the body. Please click here for more
information on CFT. There is a developing body of evidence that suggests the outcomes of the
tongue-tie division procedure are significantly improved when the baby receives bodywork
prior to and after a tongue tie division procedure.
Birth and tongue-ties often cause tension within the body. Sometimes cutting the tongue-tie is enough to
release this tension and the baby is able to go onto feed without difficulties. However, often
babies have been very restricted by their tongue-tie and even when the tie itself is released
tension still remains within the baby’s body. This can continue to have an impact on the baby’s
ability to feed and upon reflux-type symptoms. In our experience combining CFT with the tongue-
tie division maximises the baby’s potential to overcome feeding difficulties.

The Vision package is the basis for all of our consultation packages.
It is extremely important to us that all babies receive this standard of care and follow-up to enable a positive outcome from the procedure. To us dividing the tongue-tie is just one piece of the puzzle, feeding support is another and therefore combining the two ensures a much more comprehensive service for our clients.

Tongue function assessment using the Hazelbaker scoring system
Tongue-tie division
Feeding support given immediately after the tongue-tie division from a qualified lactation consultant.
Follow-up feeding support given over the telephone, through text and email correspondence from a qualified lactation consultant.
Tongue function reassessment and further tongue-tie division procedure, if reattachment is suspected/ ethically indicated.

harmony
The Harmony package enables us to add some CFT into the treatment plan. In this package we combine CFT, the tongue-tie division and feeding support, enabling these factors to work in harmony with each other and your baby’s body. CFT prior to the procedure can release tension specifically in your baby’s tongue-tie making it easier to divide.
The package includes:
Tongue function assessment using the Hazelbaker scoring system
A 15 minute CFT session prior to the tongue-tie division by a qualified CFT therapist.
Tongue-tie division.
Feeding support given immediately after the tongue-tie division from a qualified lactation consultant.
Follow-up feeding support given over the telephone, through text and email correspondence from a qualified lactation consultant.
Tongue function reassessment and further tongue-tie division procedure, if reattachment is suspected/ ethically indicated

INSPIRE
The inspire package further builds on the Harmony package and includes a follow up CFT session. This allows us to ease any tension left behind from the tongue-tie. Tension is an unfortunate side effect of a tongue-tie. Although this tension will eventually naturally ease once the tongue-tie is released, it can take some babies weeks, months or even years to resolve residual tension. CFT can significantly speed up this process and enable the baby to regain maximum tongue function in a much shorter time frame.

empower
We appreciate that some tongue-tied babies have had a long and difficult journey and getting them back on track might take a little bit more time.
We have specifically designed the Empower package with them in mind. These babies will greatly benefit from CFT and feeding support following their tongue-tie division on an ongoing basis. The empower package is priced at £300, however, custom made packages can be built on an individual basis to include as much CFT and feeding support as you and your baby need. We are happy to discuss your individual needs with you, just ask!
