My Story
My passion for supporting new families began after the birth of my first child. I made a complete career change and trained as a Babywearing Consultant, running a busy sling library and consultancy for several years.
This work deepened my interest in infant mental health and attachment, and I soon recognised a growing need for accessible infant feeding support. I went on to train as a Breastfeeding Peer Supporter.
This led to a role with One to One Midwives as a Mother and Midwife Assistant, where I provided individualised, specialist care around infant feeding and normal newborn behaviour. It was here that my dedication to supporting families truly took root.
After the birth of my second child, I began working towards becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) – the gold standard qualification in breastfeeding care, recognised worldwide.
Since qualifying in 2018, I have specialised in the clinical management of infant feeding and complex feeding issues. I am also qualified in oral motor habilitation and craniosacral fascial therapy, which allows me to take a truly holistic approach when supporting babies with feeding challenges.
Today, I work both in private practice and as an Infant Feeding Coordinator for an NHS community team. I strongly believe that support should be tailored to each family’s needs, values, and goals. My role is to empower, encourage, and educate – offering evidence-based information and compassionate care that supports your feeding journey, whatever that may look like.
